Introducing Sculptra!
Not just another filler. Sculptra is a biostimulatory aesthetic injectable that helps stimulate your own natural collagen production to firm and smooth the entire cheek region and tighten the skin along the jawline.
As we age our body’s produce less collagen - from the age of 26 you lose 1% of your collagen every year. Women who are a little bit older, need a bit of support when they need.
Why do I love Sculptra?
It is a product that lifts, firms and tightens the skin. It increases type 1 collagen by 60%. It’s one of the leading treatments of collagen induction therapy on the market. It’s a completely different product to filler - more holistic. It does take time to work (no instant fixes here!), but the long-term benefits are huge. Sculptura is a controlled and targeted treatment.
Note: You can use both filler and Sculptra - both long-term and short-term.
Note: filler lasts 9-12-months
Can I just take collagen capsules?
These collagens don’t restore lost collagen fibres. These are great for knees, nails etc. But they don’t directly target your facial tissue.
How is Sculptra different from filler?
Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, which fill lines, wrinkles, and folds, Sculptra actually stimulates your body’s own collagen to improve skin glow, tightness, and jawline contour for up to 2 years!
How does Sculptra compare to Hyaluronic Acid filler based on region?
Cheeks
-
Sculptra: long-term support, natural lift, improves skin quality
-
HA: immediate contour and projection
-
Best approach: Sculptra first, HA later if needed
Jawline
-
Sculptra: soft definition and tissue strengthening
-
HA: sharp angles and contour
-
Best approach: depends on anatomy and aesthetic goal
Temples
-
Sculptra: excellent for diffuse hollowing
-
HA: higher risk of lumpiness
-
Best approach: Sculptra only, deep placement
Under eyes
-
Sculptra: no
-
HA: select cases only
-
Better options: skin boosters, PRP, laser
Neck and décolletage
-
Sculptra: improves crepiness and dermal thickness
-
HA: hydration only
-
Best approach: Sculptra combined with energy devices
Where is Sculptra most effective for my age group?
Late 20s to early 30s - collagen preservation, not volume
Best areas
-
Pre-auricular
-
Lateral cheek
-
Early temple hollow
Why
-
Peak collagen production is already declining
-
Small amounts improve skin thickness and delay visible ageing
-
Think prevention, not reshaping
Typical total
-
1–2 vials per course
Mid 30s to mid 40s - restore lost support and improve skin quality
Best areas
-
Midface
-
Temples
-
Jawline support
-
Pre-auricular
Why
-
Fat pad descent and collagen loss are established
-
Sculptra gives lift and longevity without overfilling
-
Excellent alternative for patients who do not want HA heaviness
Typical total
-
2–4 vials per course
Late 40s to 60s+ - structural support and tissue quality
Best areas
-
Full midface
-
Jawline and pre-jowl
-
Chin
-
Neck and décolletage (texture focused)
Why
-
Volume loss is global
-
HA alone often looks puffy or short-lived
-
Sculptra improves the scaffold the face sits on
Typical total
-
4–8 vials over multiple sessions
How many treatments are required?
On average, you will have 2 to 3 treatment sessions over the course of a few months. The number of injections at each session will vary based on the treatment plan determined by you and me.
